Triste's Warm Ballads

You're cool, you're wise, you're wild, y'know?
You got me gaspin', I'm even blushing,
At what I see- the sheer audaciousness.
Mind's tellin' me this can't be so.
Eyes fillin' up, pulse poundin', blood's rushing,
It's Passion in your work, no more, no less.
Your violent, dark, emotions bared.
Scars, blood all carved into a soul too young.
But given all that, your nice blossom blooms,
Hooked on horror, want to be scared,
Out of your wits, but the fears are all from,
Like Freddy's nightmares, just inside your room.
The sober scenes that you portray
Belies the adolescent age, despite
A heavy heart, at times, and life's hard knocks
Your spirit flies above the fray.
Although it soars and climbs, it joins the fight,
Rescuing friends and loved ones, from the rocks.
Ever ready, at times so bold,
There's so much strength in you, but not apart,
A seldom-seen soft side, shining so bright.
Warm as hot breath, not dark, not cold
Sweet peaceful ballads sing inside your heart
Sung by your lover, kissing you good-night.

This one's for you, Triste friend. (Finally! I know, right?) Although you might live in a cold clime, there's such warmth within you that still shines through, in rainbow hues, and colors my world, with lots of fun. (Thanks for all the supernatural comments!) And your mind- well I could write a whole other poem about that particular body part, if that doesn't sound too inappropriate. Speakin' of which, I just assumed you must keep a Blossom in your room, right?, maybe Rhododendrons, or Chrysanthemums, or maybe even Tulips!

Ahhh, dude I love this so much! It has really great wording, as always, and puts an interesting image in my head, and the tones are are perfect in each part, gahhh I it especially love that Freddy was included in this.
