I don't want you to leave,
And I know you don't believe
All these words I have to say,
But I can't wait another day.

You should know how I have felt,
Of how you cause my heart to melt,
Of all the times that I have tried
To tell you since you first arrived.

That I can't live alone like this,
That I would take most any risk.

I give my life, my love to you.
No limit to what I would do,
To show you that I really care,
That if you need me, I'll be there,
That for your heart, I'm always here,
That for your smile, I'll persevere.

Your silence now is slowly killing
My hopes for us, all that I'm feeling.
My needed tears can't even come,
If you won't tell me what I've done
To deserve what you've put me through.
Stop hurting me, stop hurting you.
Please don't turn away from me.
Please don't ever set me free.

Let me fulfill that needed role:
To be the one to warm your soul,
To share with secrets, and dispel  
All the things you'd never tell,
To hug you tightly every night
For all those times that you have cried.
